IT Manager | Cellexia Labs

Remote
Full Time
Experienced
Pay: PHP 100k to 150k per month

Cellexia Labs currently serves customers in markets all over the world, with our fastest-growing communities in Europe, the US, Canada, and Australia. We’re a fully remote, international team, small by design, where everyone owns something real and decisions are made by the people closest to the work.

In a company with no office, IT is the office. Every laptop, login, tool, and file is how the whole team gets to work, and the whole business runs on it. When it works, nobody notices. When it fails, the whole team stops. Every new hire, tool, and market adds more to look after, and the companies that keep growing are the ones where someone owns it.

This role owns it, and leads the team that makes it work. You’ll keep our systems secure, our tools running, and our people productive, wherever in the world they log in from. You’ll set the standards, guide the IT team, and make sure new teammates are set up in a day, gaps are closed before anyone finds them, and the technology behind the business is something the rest of the team never has to think about.

For a sharp, driven technology leader who wants their work judged by results, this is a rare opportunity: a central role in how a growing brand runs.

A few examples of your responsibilities

Lead the IT team. Set clear priorities, divide the work, and give your team what it needs to do it well. You’ll coach people, review their work, and build a team that solves problems without waiting to be told.

Own the tech stack. Know every tool, account, and integration we run, who uses it, what it costs, and what depends on it. Choose and set up new tools well, and retire the ones we don’t need.

Keep us secure. Set the standard and make sure it’s followed: strong authentication, access controls, password management, device security, and clear rules for who can reach what. Teach the whole company to spot threats before they click.

Make onboarding and offboarding flawless. Make sure every new hire has working accounts, devices, and access on day one, and that every door closes the moment someone leaves.

Run a help desk that people love. Make sure problems across time zones are solved quickly, track the issues that keep coming back, and fix their causes for good.

Protect our data. Make sure backups are reliable, recovery is tested, and customer and company data is handled in line with the privacy rules in every market we sell in.

Look after our digital foundations. Keep our domains, email, website infrastructure, and tracking healthy, so our store stays up and our emails reach the inbox.

Automate the repetitive work. Build, or have your team build, the scripts, workflows, and integrations that save everyone hours.

Bring in AI safely. Evaluate and set up AI tools for the company, with clear guidance on what data can and can’t go into them.

Control the costs. Audit subscriptions and licenses, catch waste and billing errors, and work with vendors to bring costs down.

Write it down. Make sure how things work and how to fix them is documented, so nothing lives only in one person’s head.

Move fast without cutting corners. Use AI tools to speed up troubleshooting, scripting, and routine work, then apply your own judgment to make the final calls.

What we look for

Leadership people want to follow. You set a clear direction, delegate well, and give honest feedback that helps people improve. You hold a high bar without micromanaging, and you stay close enough to the work to help when it gets hard.

A security mindset. You think about how things could go wrong before they do, and you build habits and safeguards that hold up in practice, not only on paper.

Practical problem solving. You find the real cause fast, fix it cleanly, and learn something from every issue. You’re happy to dig into the unfamiliar.

Judgment under pressure. You stay steady when something breaks, make sound calls with incomplete information, and keep people informed while your team fixes it.

Clear communication. You can explain technical things to non-technical people in plain words, and your instructions leave no one guessing.

Ownership. You treat every system and every problem as yours until it’s solved. You hold yourself to a bar that keeps rising.

Team spirit. You support the best idea, not your own. You take feedback well and give it generously.

Relevant experience. [4+] years in IT management, systems administration, or a similar role, including [2+] years leading an IT team, ideally supporting remote or distributed teams at a growing company, with results you can show. Experience in e-commerce or consumer brands is a strong advantage. Excellent English is essential.

What we offer

Fast decisions, minimal bureaucracy. Your ideas are taken seriously here, whatever your title or tenure, and the best ones get tested.

Competitive pay, set for where you live. We pay well above local market norms.

Yearly bonuses of up to 40% of your annual salary. When the brand grows, you share in it.

Monthly and yearly subsidies to do your best work. Every month, we put money toward the things that make you more productive: wellness, focus, hardware and internet upgrades, and more. You know what you need better than we do, so you decide how to use it.

Impact across the business. Every person on the team uses what you and your team build and maintain. You’ll see the whole company work better because of it.

A small team that moves fast. Good ideas get tested quickly.

Work from anywhere. Fully remote, with an international team and the flexibility that comes with it.

A path that grows with the company. As Cellexia Labs scales, the person who builds our technology foundations and the team behind them is the person best placed to lead it.

The selection process

We care about what you can do, not how polished your CV looks. That’s why our process is built around how you think and work, not just where you’ve worked.

Step 1: Apply. Submit your application and CV through this link: https://jobs.cellexialabs.com/?job=itmgr_jazz_ph

Step 2: Online assessments. Right after you apply, you’ll take two short tests: a problem-solving test and a personality test. The problem-solving test shows us how you reason through unfamiliar challenges. The personality test helps us understand how you work and whether the way we operate will suit you.

Step 3: Interview. If your results stand out, we’ll invite you to interview with the team.

We move quickly. The whole process, from application to interview invitation, takes a couple of days.

If you like the role and believe you could excel at it, don’t talk yourself out of applying. A less conventional background is welcome here if your results speak for themselves.

Before you apply

Cellexia Labs is a demanding environment. We hold ourselves to a high bar, and we ask the same of the people who join us. In return, you get real freedom, work that goes live, and a front-row seat to the growth of a brand.

If this sounds like the work you want to be doing, we’d love to hear from you.
