Operations Manager | Cellexia Labs | Remote
Cellexia Labs currently serves customers in markets all over the world, with our fastest-growing communities in Europe, the US, Canada, and Australia. We’re a fully remote, international team, small by design, where everyone owns something real and decisions are made by the people closest to the work.
Growing brands rarely break at the idea or the ad. They break in the middle: the order that ships late, the handoff that nobody owned, the warehouse that raised its rates, the process everyone assumes someone else is running. Every new market, product, and launch adds more of that middle, and the brands that keep growing are the ones where someone owns it.
This role owns the middle. You’ll make sure the whole business runs well, from the moment a customer orders to the moment the box arrives. You’ll build the systems, clear the path for the people doing the work, and run the network of fulfillment partners behind every order: knowing who’s out there, keeping the conversations open, and negotiating so our costs keep coming down. The results show up everywhere: faster delivery, lower costs, calmer weeks, and a team that moves quicker.
For a sharp, driven operator who wants their work judged by results, this is a rare opportunity: a central role in how a growing brand runs.
A few examples of your responsibilities
Build and maintain our 3PL network. Keep a living map of fulfillment partners across the markets we serve: who they are, where they ship from, what they handle, what they charge, and how they perform. Know who to call before we need them.
Negotiate all the time, not once a year. Stay in constant conversation with new and existing 3PLs, open negotiations, compare offers, and use each one to push rates, terms, and service levels in our favor. Every point you win drops straight into our margin.
Keep the whole business running. Own the day-to-day operations across fulfillment, customer support, vendors, and internal processes, and make sure nothing important falls between teams.
Build the systems that scale. Turn the way we work into clear processes, checklists, and tools that a growing team can follow without being told twice.
Make teams work as one. Connect marketing, creative, support, and logistics so that work moves smoothly from one hand to the next and blockers get cleared fast.
Own our other partners. Manage the relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, and service providers: performance, costs, contracts, and what happens when something goes wrong.
Run on real numbers. Track the operational numbers that matter, such as delivery times, cost per order, error rates, and margins, and turn them into decisions and savings.
Solve problems before they spread. Catch the small issue early, find the real cause, and fix it permanently, so the same thing doesn’t happen twice.
Keep the team in rhythm. Run a steady working rhythm for a remote, international team, including planning, follow-ups, onboarding, and clear ownership of every task.
Prepare for what’s next. Plan the operations behind new launches, new markets, and new brands before they arrive, so growth doesn’t become chaos.
Keep us in good standing. Make sure we follow the rules that apply to what we make and sell in every market, and that records and contracts are in order.
Move fast without cutting corners. Use AI tools to speed up research, reporting, and routine work, then apply your own judgment to make the final calls.
What we look for
A negotiator’s mindset. You’re comfortable asking for more, you do your homework before you sit down, and you can tell a good offer from one that only looks good. You build relationships that survive hard bargaining.
Systems thinking. You see how the pieces of a business connect, you can tell a one-off problem from a broken process, and you fix the process.
Judgment under pressure. You stay steady when things go wrong, make sound calls with incomplete information, and explain them clearly.
Fluency with numbers. You’re comfortable with costs, margins, and operational metrics, and you use them to decide, not just to report. You can compare fulfillment quotes line by line and spot what’s hiding in the fine print.
Leadership without hierarchy. You get things done through clarity, trust, and follow-through in a small, remote team, not through titles.
Ownership. You treat every process and every problem as yours until it’s solved. You hold yourself to a bar that keeps rising.
Team spirit. You support the best idea, not your own. You take feedback well and give it generously.
Relevant experience. [4+] years running operations for an e-commerce or consumer brand, including sourcing, evaluating, and negotiating with 3PLs or similar partners, and managing remote teams, with results you can show, ideally with the numbers to prove it. Experience in beauty, skincare, or another consumer category is a strong advantage. Excellent English is essential.

Fast decisions, minimal bureaucracy. Your ideas are taken seriously here, whatever your title or tenure, and the best ones get tested.
Competitive pay, set for where you live. We pay well above local market norms.

A path that grows with the company. As Cellexia Labs scales, the person who builds how we operate is the person best placed to lead it.
The selection process
We care about what you can do, not how polished your CV looks. That’s why our process is built around how you think and work, not just where you’ve worked.
Step 1: Apply. Submit your application and CV through this link: https://jobs.cellexialabs.com/?job=opsmgr_jazz_ie
Step 2: Online assessments. Right after you apply, you’ll take two short tests: a problem-solving test and a personality test. The problem-solving test shows us how you reason through unfamiliar challenges. The personality test helps us understand how you work and whether the way we operate will suit you.
Step 3: Interview. If your results stand out, we’ll invite you to interview with the team.
We move quickly. The whole process, from application to interview invitation, takes a couple of days.
If you like the role and believe you could excel at it, don’t talk yourself out of applying. A less conventional background is welcome here if your results speak for themselves.
Before you apply
Cellexia Labs is a demanding environment. We hold ourselves to a high bar, and we ask the same of the people who join us. In return, you get real freedom, work that goes live, and a front-row seat to the growth of a brand.
If this sounds like the work you want to be doing, we’d love to hear from you.
